The Kent Emporium

The Kent Emporium is located in Kent Illinois (approximately 2.5 hours west of Chicago).  The building was built in 1926 as a hardware store with the vision of serving the needs of the local community.  As the population and market needs changed, the hardware store also shifted and morphed and in time was closed, sold, and converted into a tavern in the early 1970's.

Today the building has shifted into a modern day DIY Hardware Store where people come to transform their lives via classes, workshops, and retreats.

I'm Robin Rosenstiel, proprietor of the Kent Emporium - a magical place.  As a business owner, a healer, and an explorer, I travel the world and bring experiences back to the Emporium to share in the form of classes, workshops, and retreats.  Very much like the character in the Dr. Suess book "If I Ran the Zoo", these events celebrate the joys of unconventionality and the bliss of liberation.
